Hood-Crest peaches are one of our most popular items and it's easy to see why. Our method starts with fresh, ready to eat peaches (not green, like big commercial canneries). The peaches are quickly put through a steam bath to loosen the skin (not acid, like the big guys) and then carefully packed by hand (not machine, like the big guys). The result is spectacular - fresh, golden peach slices that truly taste like peaches.
Elberta peaches are very hard to find now - but we found some! We have contracted with growers in Granger, WA; Wapato, WA; Salem, OR; and Cutler, CA to bring you the best canned peaches around!
Our peach slices are not perfect...because fresh peaches don't slice perfectly. The taste though? That's perfection.

Our Italian Plums come from a grower in Cornelius, OR. We can them to preserve their shape and texture. These are our youngest son's favorite -when he was 5 or 6 and would come "help" for a bit at the cannery, he'd get paid in fruit - he would always choose a can of plums and beam with pride!

The Hood River Valley - just next door to our cannery in The Dalles - is known for it's pears. We are honored to preserve both the flavor and the heritage of our area! Bartlett pears are firm but creamy when canned - perfect alone or with a scoop of cottage cheese. Or ice cream. Or granola. Or a grilled pork chop. Or...

Sweet, tangy golden apricots from Gilbert Orchards in Yakima, WA. They are one of our family's favorites! Jenny loves them in her steel-cut oatmeal, Russell enjoys them on pancakes, and the kids like to eat them straight from the can!

We get our Bing cherries from Hood River, OR. They are so sweet and delicious it's a wonder we don't eat them all before they go in the cans!
We leave the pits in our cherries to preserve their shape and texture.

Our light cherries are super local - they come from Ben Synon's orchard that borders the cannery. We love his Raniers - gently sweet and so pretty. They can beautifully!
